Could your bra save a life?

Boobs, breasts, tits, melons, baps – we’ve heard them all. But did you know women are 28% less likely to receive CPR than men?

Why?

Because in an emergency, people hesitate.

  • They worry about touching someone’s chest.
  • They second-guess themselves.
  • Or they freeze, a classic case of British awkwardness at the worst possible moment.

And that hesitation can cost lives.

Let’s remove the awkwardness

At Excel, we train people to act, not overthink. That means practising real-life scenarios, not just talking about them. We create a safe, supportive environment where learners can build confidence and break through those barriers.

Why we need your help

We’re asking for donations of:

  • Old bras
  • T-shirts
  • Tops

Excel needs old bras, T-shirts and tops so learners can practise cutting clothing away. These everyday items help us simulate real situations where clothing needs to be cut away quickly to:

  • Perform effective CPR
  • Place defibrillator pads correctly
  • Treat a casualty without hesitation

Because when it’s real, it won’t feel like a training room.

Confidence saves lives

The more realistic the training, the more prepared people are to act,  regardless of who needs help.

  • No second-guessing.
  • No awkward pauses.
  • Just action with confidence

Got something to donate?

If you’ve got old bras, t-shirts and tops you can spare, you’ll be helping someone, somewhere, feel confident enough to save a life. Please leave your details below and we will be in touch to arrange postage or collection.
