Our Mission

Create and deliver industry-leading training that makes learning and compliance simple and engaging.

Our learners are at the heart of what we do, so we focus on impact, empowering them in the workplace and beyond with actionable, accessible and convenient training.

Actionable: We know that industries and legislation evolve quickly, so we stay ahead of the changes. Taking a hands-on approach, our trainers personally ensure that you leave each session with the tools you need today and a toolkit for the future.

Accessible: We’re safety experts, so it’s no surprise that safety comes first in everything we do. Our training is psychologically safe, inclusive and accessible for all.

Convenient: We know it’s hard to get your team in the same place at the same time, so we take a convenience-first approach to ensure that each session meets your needs.

Director & Mental Health First Aid Trainer

Rachel Elliott

Rachel is proudly part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and could see there weren’t many businesses offering a safe space to learn and access resources.

She loves technology, and wanted to be able to promote the opportunity to use newer items while training, which lead us into having manikins providing real time analysis for training.

Training Director

Brent Bowden-Graham

As Excel’s health and safety specialist, I’m here to help you be safe and healthy at work and beyond. I bring almost 20 years of health and safety experience (and a sense of humour) to make your training sessions memorable, engaging, and empowering.

From pre-hospital care to workplace training, I bring practical knowledge to your training. I’m a registered EMT, a TechIOSH, and a long-standing member of St John Ambulance and The Health Care Associates Council (HPAC).

Our FAQ’s.

Name the place, we’ll be there. Our trainers cover the entire UK (including Scotland and Northern Ireland).

How do you ensure quality?2024-10-28T16:05:34+00:00

Our equipment is specifically selected to ensure real-time feedback to our trainers.

We use Laerdal Little Anne, Little Junior and Baby Anne QCPR Manikins (in both light and dark skins) to ensure that all delegates are equipped to conduct CPR outside of the classroom.

What white label courses do you cover?2024-11-18T14:02:23+00:00

Need an extra hand delivering some training? We can offer a helping hand.

From IOSH Working & Managing Safely to Fire Safety and First Aid, we can deliver our industry-leading training for your business, under your name.

What can we expect?2024-10-28T16:08:21+00:00

Our training consists of one-on-one guidance, practical scenarios, and the opportunity to ask your burning questions. At the end, you’ll complete a simple test to ensure all delegates can apply their training to their daily work.

What do we need to provide?2024-10-28T16:09:20+00:00

Our needs are simple. We just need a suitable room that’s:

  • Big enough for all delegates
  • Free from distractions
  • Has a 3×2 meter space for demonstrations
What will your trainer need?2024-10-28T16:17:10+00:00

  • An accessible room with good lighting, a power source and either a TV or projector with HDMI capability (if you’re unsure, just give us notice and we can help or bring our own).

  • We’d also appreciate access to refreshments such as tea, coffee, and water.
